MISSION AUSTRALIA

To raise awareness and support for Mission Australia's work in helping families facing significant challenges, particularly those with children who have disabilities.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

This campaign aimed to inspire donations and engagement by sharing Kirsten’s personal story, highlighting her struggles and the support Mission Australia provides.

The campaign centres around Kirsten, a mother caring for her disabled daughter. It highlights the emotional and practical challenges she faces in providing her child with the care and opportunities she needs. Kirsten's story is framed to reflect not only the struggles of living with a disability but also the profound impact of Mission Australia's programs on her life.

The nature of storyboards is to support the photographer and creative direction of a campaign. Agencies also use these in pre-production to support the visualise concepts, moods, and compositions, ensuring everyone involved is on the same page.

The client wanted to show the distraught faces of a family that was homeless. Their daughter is ill and they don't have the money to have her treated. AI-generated or stock images didn't capture the urgency, so the frames had to be illustrated. The client was so impressed that they wanted to use them in the campaign, however this wasn't the final outcome, and the shoot went ahead.

These donations will help empower disadvantaged children across Australia to access the educational resources and support they need to learn today and transform their futures.
